• Deanna Dawson is committed to maintaining the small town atmosphere that makes Edmonds such a special place to live, and is opposed to raising building heights.
• A strong voice for Edmonds, Deanna led the fight against Brightwater. As President of the Snohomish County Cities and Towns Association, she is a vocal opponent of Paine Field expansion.

Preparing for our future ...

• Because the youth of today are the leaders of tomorrow, Deanna volunteers as a mentor and serves on the boards of TeamChild and Big Brothers/Big Sisters of Snohomish County.
• Deanna has led the council in protecting our water and wetlands, and in preserving open spaces and parks for future generations to enjoy.

Protecting our community today ...

• Deanna works to combat abuse in our community as a Domestic Violence Special Prosecutor, and as a charter member of the South Snohomish Domestic Violence Task Force.
• Public safety is Deanna's number one priority.
  Deanna is Chair of SNOCOM, our local 911 emergency dispatch center, and Chair of the Edmonds Public Safety Committee.
